hey,
wah its been so long since i've seen my secondary school friends, but i met bout 4 of them today in school, i must say it was nice to see them n see how they're doing now. didn't really have time to talk but the looked fine la...i seem to only have a chat with Cheng Wei once in a while...mayb bcos i'm closer to him though we aren't very close nowadays...well if any of u secondary school friends are reading this, 1 gd reason why i haven't really been keeping in touch is becos of school in which i'm slack but still bz...and i guess that all of u are bz too so i'm afraid i mite disturb u all if i msg or call u guys...
but i must say it was nice when some of u do msg me on occasions such as Christmas (such as far, etc)...really nice, Thx :)
btw if u guys(or gals) are free anytime n want to meet up jus give me a call...i shd b free for this kinda important thing(compared to school) and i'l call the rest as well...

Schools started!

hey,
its been quite a while since i blogged...well ya as u can see in my nic...school has started...sian man. plus to make things worse it hasn't started on such a gd note...i jus failed my 1st test in polythecnic life(pls don't mention it to my parents)...and theres a chance i might fail another 1 in the same 2 weeks! crazy..but i can only blame myself...nono its not the time i spend on pool that has brought the decline in my results but my own happy go luckyness...and laziness.

mayb its because i'm not aiming very high for poly and im just contented to pass and advance on...and mayb its because i have the view that its very hard to fail in poly that has brought about my slacking and sloppiness in school. well now i know where i stand...among the worst...but whatever it is i'm gonna bounce back and i'm gonna catch up with the rest...failing was a gd wake up call for me...much better than if i fail the final exam and have to retain. hmmm...blessing in disguise? well im very thankful i fail now and not in the final exam...and the top scorer if ur reading this get the msg...i'm coming after ur marks!

another thing that has happened is that i've realised i've started to play less pool as school has started...gd thing...save money...now i must use that time to study. but anyway hoestly i still play quite alot and i must further limit myself...hmmm 1-2 days a week? u guys think its ok? or still too much? i'm open to suggestions...

well since i'm talking bout pool, my 3rd love...i have gd news! remember the Teen Games in my past post? we've more or less confirmed my team! and Yan Hao(the thin guy) has agreed to play in our team! have to thank God for this...hopefully it will be more than a pool competition but we're all hoping we'll be able to intro him to church. anyway the people in my team SHOULD BE Zhi Yong, Christopher, Yan Hao, Limin and me! got quite a gd chance of winning...but its more than winning but jus a haveng fun and using the oppotunity to spread the gospel to our friends...

anyway im too lazy to type today so thats all i have today...see ya,

hey, firstly i wud like to wish everyone a Happy New Yr!!! really 2005 was great n so much has happened though it seem like hardly a month...i'll take forever if i were to go through all that has happened so far but i must say again it was amazing n amazing...i really have to thank God for all he has given me and all that has come my way...good or bad...

anyway we just had LAN party last friday and saturday...haha...tradition...we've had this kind of thing for the past, 1-2 yrs? but very year it gets better and better...last year we had a Game Cube, and about 5 wired up coms, this yr we amzingly had PS2 and Game Cube, too bad no XBox cos of unforeseen circumstances...haha...plus we had about 10 coms wired up to play Warcraft, etc (the usual)...had a great time...and the earliest breakfast ever...cos we were gaming till the wee hours of the morning(9 or 10 to be exact) without any sleep at all. i really duno how we survived but yea we did. it kinda reminds me of the kids in china that died after playing for 48 hrs...i think we played slightly more than half of that so we were fine...lol...

anyway enough bout what has happened...were in the new yr and i shd b tokin bout wats gonna happen this yr...well 1st up would be SKY again...haha its really a gd church youth progamme that has put my perspective right and helped me along so much...plus not to mention all the fun that we've had together as a grp...although this yr i'ma grp leader! i know every1 is like !!!! but ya i was appointed as 1 of the grp leders in SKY this yr...tough job...but if God wants me to do it, i'll give it my all...
another thing thats happening this yr...Jason Wongs gonna go to the down under(Aussie) this yr to study! most of u guys from church shd know...well we'll miss u bro take care n come back...beware of the racist there(lol)...stay in touch.

now goin on to school stuff...sian...gotta go back on thurs for a test! did i mention it's microecons?!!!!! sianX2 haha...but finally get to see my classmates again, honestly i have to say mayb its bcos i duno my classmates that well, so most of them weren't really missed...awww sorry...

another thing bout school, i hope it keeps me from playin pool too often...really spent alot of money on it so far...what to do? its a love(my 3rd love), a passion...haha. during the hols i played ALOT...mayb 4 times a week? but i can say that all that playin time did not go to waste as i've learnt alot from Zhi Yong n occasional tips from Christopher...but now that schools starting for them(ZY final NP yr, Chris A's) i guess we'll play less naturally but whether i play with my NP friends thats another matter...

finally to end of my new years post i have an annoncement!
TEEN GAMES 2006!!!
yup yup its here again...i know many of u have not heard it but its a popular event in many other parts of the world and it has just recently come to Sg...its being organised by SYFC in Sg, a Christian organisation...but don't worry of being dragged to church for some lame games...i participated in the soccer with my team in 2003(i think) and it was jus great had great games, made friends...n simply putting it, we jus played soccer...all the sports are popular sports for youth like us and its for us to come and have fun and enjoy ourselves! my friends and i should b participating in the pool this yr! WOOT! anyway for people my age(U-24) there is Basketball, Ultimate Frisbee, Bowling, Pool and Adventure Race! cool right!!! wish i could do almost all but theres a clash in dates and well, i obviously chose pool. u need to form a team with ur friends to participate...how many per team? how much is the entrance fee? what are the dates? if u have any ques please ask so i can ask the organizer...and btw all the events will be in June and the closing date for application is 1st May. i really encouage u to join have fun and just enjoy yourselves...

heya, i know its like 2 days after christmas but...MERRY CHRISTmas all!!! anyway i was slightly disappointed that christmas was on a sunday. cos as compared when we have it on a weekday theres much more time...so it seems. cos if its on a sunday i have to go to church and celebrate on the same day, if its on a weekday the church service is on sunday while on christmas day itself we onli go a shorter service, n then CELEBRATE!!! much more time...but i must not forget the true meaning of CHRISTmas if nt i mite seem like i love it onli for the presents...CHRISTmas is to commemorate the birth of Jesus Christ! woohoo! the best thing that happened in the history of man...to keep a long story short he came to save the world from sin and give man a chance at eternal life. any other questions pls ask me cos im lazy to type now...really sori :( anyway got so much cool stuff from my church friends...so many cards notes presents, etc. their all very nice cos of the thought... i'm not the kind demanding certain stuff (other than jokingly) and havin some1 give u something shows that the person remembers U...so nice of every1! thx all! anyway i have to highlight a few presents that i found quite interesting....hmm let me think....Zhi Yong(my fellow bangla) and Paul BAKED!!! so rare for guys! and honestly the cookies they made 4 every1 were really quite gd...nxt up is KC and John N Co. it seems i got 2 books on evangalism, oh ya 3 (Wai Ling) quite shocked me, am i seen as a very missions person? hmmm....3rdly wud b Sarah who gave me this lollipop thing, quite funny looking gadget plus a picture of the Y4 bbq in a frame, great pic man, i value such stuff more than any store bought stuff(no offence pple)....wow so much great stuff....i un tink i haf the time....but to every1....thx again n i really liked the stuff....how bout me? wat cool stuff did i give people?i shared with 5 other friends so we wud b able to get better stuff at a price that wint burn a hole in my wallet....a few stuff that i gave my friends wud be....hmmm a really cool christian poster to Zhi Yong, not cheap man....Jeans for Yan Ho! haha finally can see him wear jeans....a lot more stuff but i'll jus say 1 more, i gave Jason Wong my old cue (sori Alex but my friend is goin away for 5 yrs)....plus we bought him a new glove, i cant imagine letting him use a 4th hand glove....eeee....anyway hope that will make him try to learn to play better....Jason ur prob reading, so heres some tips....
1) while learning its ok to miss shots at 1st, its better to miss shots but get the technique right once and for all intead if jus ramming n depeending on luck n worse of all keeping a very wrong technique (ur cueing, stance, aim and bridging)....
2) REMEMBER! cue slowly....make sure ur cue is straight and get ur aim correct....
3) even if u know u cant pod the ball due to any circumstance, dont anyhow whack....NEVER anyhow whack....
4) ur bridging.... i dont have much to say other than the same thing....even though ur usin a glove dont use the close bridge for now....cos ur doin it wrong too much pressure applied to cue....will miss cue easily....
5) finally, never be proud of ur play until ur really zai like the fatty....as a person with a personal cue u must play n improve till ur worthy of ur cue....even now sometimes i feel i'm not gd enuff....

yup thats all follow it and u will improve alot in the long run....i feel like a coach...haha well jus advice for a friend....come to think of it i havent played with my NP pool kakis for quite sometime...haf been playing with my church friends more....more pros la, lol....

Anyway i was glad that the whole Y4 is getting closer again...cos after the split we've not toked much to each other....n i jus had a gd tok n sharing with quite a few friends from the "other side"...lol felt good...i duno why all my better friends are on the other side....well doesnt matter now cos were still tokin, etc...

PLUS GD NEWS!!! i finally went for a jog/run after ages....its damn wierd i still cud haha....mayb bcos i jogged with a gd friend so ya....i've hardly jogged/ran the past 1.5 yr and suddenly i almost cover 4km....haha gd to know i didnt collapse and die....

And finally....to remind KPRBC lanners....LAN party this friday!!!!!!! WOOOHOOOO...pple playin against pple like John, Chung, Chris, mayb me? watch out! OWNAGE! were gonna play a league of standard, then prob DOTA against each other(we have bout 9-10 c0ms)... hopefully our strongest team can go bnet n MEGA KILL!!! plus were prob gonna have all 3 consoles so those with games pls bring...plus every1 bring $10 or dinner, supper, and all the meals so Jasons domestic helper(nana) wont have to b troubled cooking for so many pple...

fingers tired liao...i've said almost everything i wanted to say....so ya....cya n NP starts on Thurs guys....at least 4 my half of yr 1 BS....

SKY Camp! Amazing...tats all i can say

hey all, i know i haven been blogging for quite some time. sorry bout that (esp. cheng wei since he linked mine to his but found no updates). i have been quite bz lately n i am also quite lazy as usual. anyway i jus got back from SKY camp i made it a point to immediately blog so that i wont 4get or miss out anything. AMAZING....tats all i can say....oh ya....i 4got to explain SKY is a youth grp in my church for youth from the ages 16-uni age. every yr we have a camp where we'll jus come together and have fun n pla n have a few Bible and Christian activities. but this yr was different from the rest. the theme this year is evangelism. i was quite unopen to the idea at 1st becos i was not very comfortable goin to tok to pple bout God, etc. i felt it was jus hard. well anyway i jus went to join the camp like usual. we were split into 4 grps about 2 weeks b4 the camp. we were then told that our grps had to present an evangelistic item to guest that WE will invite ourselves. hmmm...wasn't very enthu on my side cos i was lazy n was quite closed to evangelism. but then the news came...i was suppose to b the grp leader along with my other friend, Charissa. OM Goodness i tot 2 myself. well bo bian i still went on n prepared the item with my grp. in the end we came up with the idea of a skit, a discussion time with every1 bout common ques, a speech by Charissa and then a song by my other grp members. sounds very well planned but the truth was that we were not prepare at all. we were given the 2nd tome slot for our programme but even after the 1st event we were still very unprepared n every1 was nervous, so in the little time in between we rehearsed again and again...plus i was the lead actor some more lor. n the problem was that given my gd nature (lol) i cudn't get into the role of the angry person no matter how much i tried.the skit was on this guy which cared little for the world n all the death n suffering...until his favorite uncle fell into a coma. the uncle was christian n he was not. anyway half way in the hospital 1 of his uncles church friends came in and started to comfort him although her own mother was in hospital. and the guy was curious y she was so nice although she was goin through almost the same thing. so she started explaining about God, and heaven, etc. until the guy was offended got very angry (my part) bcos he felt that she was tokin nonsense and questioned about why God had let all this happen, etc. Sigh...i was so worried b4 the skit. but i remembered that all things r possible through God n that i jus had to pray n jus let him use me 4 his work. well i can jus say that i did jus that n the whole thing turned out very well and we got great response from the audience. but now i must remember to emphasize i cud not have done this alone without Gods help and i give all glory to him. this was not the most amazing thing that happened though. all the other grps also did a wonderful job i must say n we can confidently say tat God was working in us n usin us for his glory n showing how we jus had to be still n know that he is God. many other miraculous thing happened at the camp, like my friend showing the ability to speak in tongues to tell this lady about God (speaking in tongues is like being able to speak other languages out of a sudden without any fore-planning, i know the charismatics will beg to differ but u can contact me personally to discuss bout it) in this case he cud speak chinese fluently. u must b thinking, chinese? can't all chinese speak that? well we usually can except for a few pple like me n my friend in which we can hardly string a proper sentence together. but on that period of time itself, when he was tellin this stranger about God. he cud talk fluently n confidently with his lau pok kind of chinese. Amazing isn't it? i must admit i had my doubts at 1st but an experience nxt day helped me feel God n experience him even more n i was ashamed i even doubted. i also felt very pai seh b4 that cos we were brought to all the gd hawker centres b4 that but when we bought food we had to ask the stall keeper if we could sing for him/her jus to bring the chrisymas spirit. SO PAI SEH lor...thats how i felt...buy drink mus sing song in front of people. but after the whole thing i tot 2 myself, wasn't that bad la... i mean it wasnt that bad n on top of that we handed out pamphets on Christianity. so i was doin somthing beneficial to the people so it was worth it. there will come a time when some people will not mind staring, being beaten up, etc to evangalise. WHy??? well bcos i know i am doin something tats eternal so its worth it.

Anyway heres the greatest experience of the camp. in fact the greatest experience of my life. i ask all of u reading have u ever felt God b4? i have but nv so close b4. let me tell u how it happened. it was the last day of camp already n we were jus getting ready to leave after the final worship session. however it was nv so simple. u see durin that time i was doubting God again(eg. whether all we did was worth it, whether he was even there). Guess what? he decided to tell me whether he was there. he decided to let me feel his presence n Love. AMAZING AMAZING i must say. i was jus normally singing but i jus felt different. wat a big diff it was. im sure every1 has felt BG love rite? u know when ur heart starts beating faster? (if thats wat it is..lol) i felt jus that...jus that i was feeling 10's of times that feeling. AMAZING!!! i cud actually feel Love so strong n Joy so deep my whole body was worshipping. and i'm not the only 1. in fact the joy was so strong i jus broke down n cried. Yes, i cried there n then. hey were tears of joy that i felt God. i can confirm what i felt n it felt like heaven...truely...words can nv fully describe how i felt. but all i can say is that i am not 1 that cries so easily...i didn't even cry at my own grandfathers funeral. but here i was singing n crying out tears of Joy! how amazing...seriously. and i was not the only 1. my close fren also cried. tough guy like him from SJI jus tearing. how amazing. now i know how i will feel when i reach Heaven n b with my Lord!
i promised myself n God that i'll nv doubt him again.
long entry today. i hope it will inspire the christians to find God again. n the non-Christians reading this i am a changed person n i feel free n i know wats i have...do u? if u die today do u knw where u will go after that? if u had a chance to live a life full of joy will u choose it? God is offering it to U now, alls tats left is for U to say Yes. i did n i nv looked back.

Missin VBS

Hey,
I haven't blogged 4 quite long...this further shows how lazy i am. Anyway i went to help in VBS yesterday! kk for those who don't know what it is, its a programe that my church has every school hols for kids from Kindergarden to Primary 5. There are games, bible stories, etc...kids stuff. *sigh * i know i'm not a kid...but i miss VBS becos of school i couldn't help out this yr as a volunteer. i could only go down yesterday as school ended early at 12 yesterday. And i have to thank Zhi Yong for the convienient car ride down to church which is al the way down at River Vally. I know the way i've described things may not sound very exciting...blame my poor english, but i myself didn'tknow how much fun i would have until i volunteered myself! Havin the kids running all around n having their fun might not be every1's cup of tea...but at the end if the day u can only think back n recall how much fun u had with them plus the fact that at least they have heard of my Savior and my Lord, Jesus Christ so that if they decide to believe in Chrisianity they've already got the basics right. Sadly though i didn't manage to volunteer this year...but 1 day at VBS has already made me decide to pontang all my lectures next year to volunteer...not only do i have more fun but i will be working towards something that is so much more worth it...something Eternal.
Anyway enough about my personal life...i jus read the papers this morning 2 girls fell from the indoor rollercoster in Singapores theme park, Downtown East today. Wow! I was surprise! i mean that indoor rollercoster is so pathetic already still have people fall...wth. Not that i do not feel sorry bout the family n the 2 girls that fell, i'm jus glad they are ok. Then again that rollercoaster is ssoooooooo pathetic still got people falling from it. And the dumb thing is that it doesn't even go upside down! How to fall??? If i have a friend in America or Europe and if he comes over to Singapore for a holiday n he suggests going to Singapores ONLY theme park, i would tell him, "pls don't waste your $$$, ur better off spending ur $$$ on char kway teow, laksa, chilli crab, chicken rice, etc (Singapore food)" I mean look at the theme parks and rollercoasters over there! Looking at it gives u the thrill already, imgine riding it! Then i look back at the 1 in Singapore...sigh...it needs a makeover. The thought just came to my mind...remember the episode of Mr Bean going on the rollercoaster and falling asleep? Imagine if he sat on the 1 in Singapore...hahaha.
Anyway my hand tired already, probably continue bout Singapore's entertainment places in my next post.

yea...my 1st time blogging in my life...dun really know wat 2 say now but im jus sian la...nothing do then blog lor...anyway i'm jus too lazy at time so i won't b blogging consistently. then y did i start blogging? hmmm...well it seemed cool after reading blogs like Rockson n a few others. plus MOST IMPORANTLY...for my CIP module this sem i have to do some project or something liddat n our tutor said tat he accepts blogs as substitute 4 the project. so OBVIOUSLY i blog la... i mean which student in the right mind wud do 1 whole project instead??? (if ur 1 of them no offense). well it'll also b cool tat pple get 2 know the REAL me i tink this can b done when i blog n pple will know how i feel lor...anyway i write until sian liao, i also dun wanna bore u to death so ya thx 4 reading!
